Meet Your Counsellor- Kritika

Choosing to seek support is a deeply personal decision, and finding someone with whom you feel comfortable is an important part of that journey. My aim is to provide a warm, respectful, and non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences at your own pace.

I hold a Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology and have been trained in understanding the intricate relationship between human behaviour, emotions, interpersonal dynamics, and the environments in which people live and work. My academic journey, complemented by a strong research background and experience in clinical settings, has shaped an evidence-informed and compassionate approach to counselling.

My practice focuses on working with individuals and couples navigating relationship concerns, workplace challenges, emotional distress, communication difficulties, life transitions, stress, and concerns affecting their overall psychological well-being. With a special interest in organizational dynamics, I also support working professionals in understanding workplace relationships, managing occupational stress, achieving healthier work-life integration, and building emotional resilience.

My therapeutic style is rooted in the Person-Centred Approach, which means I believe that every individual possesses the capacity for growth and healing when provided with empathy, acceptance, and a safe therapeutic relationship. Rather than offering quick solutions or judgment, I work collaboratively with clients to help them gain deeper insight, develop healthier coping strategies, and move towards meaningful, lasting change.

Alongside talk therapy, I incorporate mindfulness-based practices and relaxation techniques wherever appropriate to help clients cultivate emotional regulation, reduce stress, and reconnect with the present moment.

I am committed to providing culturally sensitive, inclusive, and affirmative care. I strive to create a space where individuals from diverse backgrounds, identities, and life experiences feel respected, heard, and valued. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirmative, and I believe every person deserves compassionate mental health support free from stigma and discrimination.

As a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), I value ethical practice, continuous learning, and evidence-based care. I remain committed to expanding my knowledge and integrating contemporary psychological research into my work to offer thoughtful and effective support.

Whether you are facing personal challenges, navigating relationship concerns, managing workplace stress, or simply seeking greater emotional clarity, I hope to offer a space where you feel genuinely understood and supported. Therapy is not about having all the answers, it is about discovering them together, one conversation at a time.
